Aaron and his wife have two children who, despite their charm, have aged him considerably.  Aaron also keeps our team entertained with relentless dad jokes.

Jacinta Gallpen LLB GDLP MQLS

Family Lawyer

Jacinta has a Bachelor of Laws from Central Queensland University and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Queensland University of Technology.  Before becoming a family lawyer, Jacinta worked in various client-facing roles in both Australia and overseas. She spent four years living in the United Kingdom and has travelled extensively throughout Europe, North America and Asia.

Jacinta has successfully resolved many family law matters including both parenting matters and property settlements. Jacinta also has experience defending clients involved with domestic violence proceedings. Jacinta takes pride in assisting family law clients through challenging times, with empathy and respect.

In her spare time Jacinta enjoys travelling, laying on the beach with a good book, and seeing live music (especially Taylor Swift). She does not find Aaron’s dad jokes very funny.

Aimee Brighton

Office Clerk

Aimee is our incredibly efficient office clerk and will be your first point of contact at Shorestone legal. She supports our team by providing timely and invaluable administrative support, doing everything from file management, keeping the rest of the team and our principal solicitor organised (which is no mean feat), and all other day-to-day administrative tasks.

Aimee grew up right here in Banyo.  With a keen interest in justice and law, Aimee is currently studying an Associate Degree of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the Universiy of Southern Queensland.  She has plans to then begin a Bachelor of Laws.

Aimee is passionate about understanding the systems that shape people’s lives and is working towards a future where she can provide real change for others in our community, through empathetic and effective interventions.

Outside work hours, Aimee spends her time studying. A lot. She also remembers enjoying reading and live music before starting university.
